Prior to this role, Kumar was the Chief Operating Officer for CyanConnode in India from September 2017 to December 2020, where responsibilities included developing operations and delivery of hardware and implementation services for major smart meter projects. Kumar also held significant positions at Tech Mahindra, including Competency Head for Utilities, leading the Global Utility Center of Excellence, and serving as Additional Vice President at BSES Delhi, overseeing a large IT department managing extensive infrastructure. Gautam Kumar holds a B Tech degree in Electronics & Power Engineering from Nagpur University.
