Jimmy Salas has a diverse range of work experience in the field of quality assurance and software testing. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Leadership Development Associate at Consolidated Graphics, where they provided help desk support and assisted with implementing asset and software tracking systems. Between 2013 and 2015, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at P2 Energy Solutions, where they quickly learned multiple environments and tested assigned modules for new patches. From 2015 to 2016, they served as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Entrance Consulting, testing various applications and assisting with running test cases and resolving bugs. From 2016 to 2020, they worked as a Software Test Engineer at Compeat Restaurant Management Software, where they became the main tester for the Labor and Scheduling product, developing a new test suite with gherkin style test cases. Currently, since 2020, they are employed as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Intellum.

Jimmy Salas received their Associate's degree in Science from Brazosport College between 2005 and 2007. Jimmy then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems at the University of Houston, graduating between 2007 and 2010. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification from ASTQB - ISTQB in the U.S. in May 2023, and the Jira Fundamentals Badge from Intellum in March 2023.
