Jonathan Cairns has a diverse work experience, starting from 2009. Jonathan began their career at Friend MTS Limited as a Software Engineer, where they built and maintained anti-piracy software and later became a technical lead for a web development project. In 2012, they joined 22 Blue as a Web Developer and introduced processes and automation to improve team efficiency. Jonathan then moved to Green Gorilla Apps as a Senior Web Developer, where they created large-scale bespoke web and mobile applications using Agile processes and test-driven development.
