Nisha Desai

Nisha Desai has a diverse work history in the energy and clean technology industries. Nisha founded and serves as CEO of Intention, a brand with a mission to empower individuals to build a personal environmental legacy. Nisha served on the board of directors for Greentown Labs and PREPA. As Managing Director of Aurora Clean Energy Partners, they provided consulting and project development services for clients in renewable energy and clean technology. Nisha also served as a board member for the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Alliance. Before founding Intention, Desai was Vice President at NRG Energy, where they pioneered the growth of the company's dGen department. Nisha co-founded ActualSun, a web-based portfolio management solution for solar asset owners and managers, and served as Director of Development at Tessera Solar. Prior to that, they were a senior associate at Booz & Company (formerly Booz Allen Hamilton), where they led teams to assist energy and utilities clients with growth strategy and performance improvement.

Nisha Desai earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Yale University, where they attended from 1988 to 1992. From 1995 to 1997, they pursued a Master of Business Administration degree at Harvard Business School. No field of study is specified for their MBA.
