Marine Guémas

Marine Guémas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and research areas. Marine started their career in 2009 as a Research Intern at the Team Imagerie Géophysique des systèmes complexes, where they conducted an experimental study on acoustic propagation through bubbles cloud. Marine then moved on to the Institut of physics Rennes as a Research Intern, focusing on a research project related to physics.

In 2011, Marine began their Ph.D. research at Saint-Gobain Recherche, conducting 2D numerical simulations on the dynamics of bubbles and solid bodies near a surface in melting glass. Marine used a boundary-element method coupled with a front-tracking technique for this project. During this time, they also served as a Co-organizer for an international congress called BeTeQ 2013.

Marine continued their Ph.D. research as a Ph.D. Researcher at LadhyX from 2011 to 2014. Marine'sresearch focused on examining the interface evolution and drainage of a film between bubbles and a surface. Marine also took on the responsibility of coordinating a three-day international congress during their time at LadhyX.

In 2012, they worked as a Teacher Assistant at ENSTA ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées. Additionally, they gained practical experience as a Master intern at the University of Twente, where they conducted an experimental study on drop impingement on superhydrophobic micropattern substrates using non-Newtonian fluids.
