Kimberly Burrows, MBA, is a seasoned nonprofit leader with extensive experience in fundraising and business development. Currently serving as State Executive Director at Susan G. Komen since March 2022, Kimberly previously held significant roles at the American Heart Association for nearly nine years, including Senior Director of Development, where responsibility encompassed overseeing the Heart Challenge portfolio and achieving annual revenue goals exceeding $2.5 million. Earlier positions included Director of Development for Heart Walk, where Kimberly successfully cultivated corporate sponsorships and fundraising efforts, and Youth Market Director, driving significant revenue growth through strategic partnerships with educational leaders. Prior experience includes Director of Marketing and Business Development at DePaul Community Resources, where Kimberly established a high-performing marketing department, and Development Representative at the American Cancer Society, managing fundraising for major events. Kimberly holds an MBA with a Health Care emphasis from East Tennessee State University and a BS in Food & Nutrition from Florida State University.
