Rueben Scriven

Rueben Scriven is a Senior Analyst at Interact Analysis. Prior to this, they worked as a Bioinformatics Analyst at the University of Sao Paulo from July 2017 to October 2017, and as an Industrial Placement Student at Cambridge Research Biochemicals from July 2016 to July 2017. Rueben has a wide range of skills relating to both data science and genomics, which they gained from their previous work experiences. These skills include data processing using UNIX commands and python, working with the Linux operating system and servers, applying data mining algorithms to large data sets, developing association network models using time-series data, and data visualisation using Gephy, Matplotlib and ggplot2. Rueben is also proficient in time management and organisation, having been responsible for organising their own work schedule while at Cambridge Research Biochemicals.

Rueben Scriven completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at Durham University. Rueben then attended Brighton and Hove Sixth Form College where they studied Biology, Psychology, and Physical Education.
