Nicole Herman, MPH, MS, is a visual artist currently working at the Interact Center for the Visual and Performing Arts since September 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota, where Nicole focused on whole genome sequencing and phylogenetic analysis of Mycobacterium avium subsp. paratuberculosis, and at Mayo Clinic, where data collection and analysis encompassed gene expression and cognitive testing. Additional roles include a Mosquito Surveillance Program Intern at the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station and an Information Technology support position at the University of Minnesota Rochester. Nicole holds a Master of Science in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from the University of Minnesota, a Master's of Public Health in Epidemiology of Microbial Disease from Yale School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of Minnesota.
