Maria Latimore (she/her) is a project manager, facilitator, coach, and trainer. She helps nonprofits to plan and execute organizational change efforts that further their mission and increase organizational capacity.
As a change agent who does her work through a racial equity lens, Maria facilitates the development of strategic plans. She helps nonprofit organizations to increase stakeholder engagement by customizing and implementing project and change management practices and frameworks.
Before starting Maria Latimore Group, she was a Vice President in State Street Corporation’s business transformation division where she managed the design and deployment of systems and operating models that fundamentally transformed global investor services business units.
Maria is a certified SMART Conversations® (SC) facilitator. SC is a research-based methodology that enables people to effectively collaborate, learn from each other, and hold difficult conversations in a psychologically safe environment. She is also a PMP-certified project manager and has a B.A. degree in Business Management from Simmons College in Boston.
Maria is on the board of directors of The Dignity Institute and Nuestra Comunidad; and is co-chair of the Technology Committee at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at University of Massachusetts Boston.
