Ali Dadgar

Principal Inventive Scientist at Interactions

Ali Dadgar has a strong background in engineering and research. Ali worked as a Principal Inventive Scientist at Interactions LLC since 2017. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Research Assistant at Columbia University Graduate School of Arts and Sciences from 2012 to 2017, where their work focused on physics, quantum transport, and strain engineering of two-dimensional microsystems. Ali also has experience in machine learning and deep learning tools. Before that, Ali worked at BIDEC as a Systems Engineer and Project Manager from 2006 to 2010, where they supervised complex design projects and managed engineering activities. Ali'searlier experience includes working as a Principal Design Engineer at IRITEC from 1996 to 2006, where they designed and optimized various systems and equipment.

Ali Dadgar earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in ME/Physics from Columbia University between the years 2012 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in ME - Micro/Nanoscale Engineering from Columbia Engineering, studying from 2010 to 2011. Ali has also acquired additional certifications in Programming Foundations: Object-Oriented Design from LinkedIn, a Data Science Bootcamp - Intensive Machine Learning Course from the Data Science Institute at Columbia University, and Problem Solving Mastery from Prime Learning in Ireland.
