Steve Hughes

Steve Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Steve started their career as a Product Specialist/Sales Trainee at Reliance Comm Tec in 1985, where they later became an Account Manager for the Northeastern Region. In 1990, they joined ADC Telecommunications, initially working as a Product Manager for Fiber Optic Outside Plant Products before becoming the Senior Product Manager for the Multimedia Systems Group. At ADC, they also served as the Sales and Engineering Director for the Mountain Region and Canada. In 1996, Steve moved to ConvergeOne as the Director of Sales, managing the upper midwest sales team. Steve then joined Avaya in 2004 as a Global Account Manager, where they were responsible for selling CC, UC, Video, Data, and Security solutions to strategic accounts. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as the Director of Sales at NTest Inc. Steve then served as the Sales Manager Middle Markets at Onvoy from 2002 to 2004. Before joining Interactions LLC as the Senior Director, Utilities and Retail Practice in 2019, Steve was a Major Account Manager at Cisco, where they worked with USWest/Qwest on Access sales and implemented DSL systems and Multi Tenant Unit contracts. Currently, at Interactions LLC, Steve holds the role of Senior Sales Director.

Steve Hughes attended Northeastern Illinois University from 1982 to 1985. During this period, they pursued a Marketing Major with a minor in Communications.
