Mike Stearman

Mike Stearman has extensive experience in database engineering and operations, currently serving as Manager of Database Engineering and Operations at Interactive Brokers since February 2023. Prior to this role, Mike held various positions at New York Life Insurance Company from September 2006 to February 2023, including Manager and CVP of Enterprise DB Architecture and Engineering. Previous experience includes a role as Sr Database Architect-Team Lead at Bloomberg in 2006 and as Sr. Oracle DBA at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from 2004 to 2006. Mike also contributed as Sr Oracle DBA-Team Lead at Lightbridge from 1999 to 2004 and at Oracle from 1997 to 1999, along with earlier experience as a Business Systems Analyst at Universal Studios. Mike's educational background includes an MBA in Finance/MIS and a BS in Economics, both from Auburn University.
