Deborah Byard

Deborah Byard's work experience began in 1993 as a Management Accounts Supervisor for the National Health Service. Deborah then worked as an Accountant at Blackpool & The Fylde College from 1996 to 1997. From 1997 to 2006, they held various finance roles at Barclays Stockbrokers, including Finance Business Partner and Senior Finance Business Partner. Deborah then joined DWP, Jobcentreplus in 2006 as a Finance Business Partner and Finance Manager, before moving to TD Direct Investing (Europe) in 2008. At TD Direct Investing (Europe), they were a Finance Manager and later became the Group Controller & Business Partner. In 2017, Deborah started working at Interactive Investor, where they held roles such as Group Financial Controller, Head of Finance Business Partnering, Head of Finance Integration & M&A, Deputy CFO, and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer.

Deborah Byard completed their B.A.(Hons) 2:1 degree in Economics & Accounting from the University of Central Lancashire between 1990 and 1993. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting from 1994 to 1996, although specific details regarding the degree and field of study are not available.
