Director Of Project Management at Interactive Strategies

Michael Garvey has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Michael started their career at PMA Insurance Group, where they worked as a Lead Data Control from 1990 to 1992. Michael later joined Phillips Business Information as a Database Manager and then moved to LexisNexis as a Manager of Global Academic Product Development. In 2000, Michael joined Ilearning Inc as a Web Developer/Project Manager. Michael then worked at Sallie Mae for seven years, serving as the Director of Web Design and Development. From 2011 onwards, Michael held the role of Senior Manager at Siteworx, where they were responsible for managing various web projects of different sizes and utilizing both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies. In 2018, they joined SoundExchange as a Senior Project Manager and is currently working at Interactive Strategies as the Director of Project Management, a position they have held since 2019.

Michael Garvey earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems/Organizational Behavior from La Salle University, which they attended from 1986 to 1992. Prior to that, they obtained a BS degree in Management Information Systems/Organizational Behavior while working in Business Administration from 1982 to 1986. In addition, they hold a certification as a Certified SAFe Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., which they obtained in September 2014.
