Christie Velasco

Christie Velasco is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Anti-Money Laundering Certified Associate (AMLCA) with extensive experience in the financial sector. Currently serving as Vice President at Interamerican Bank since February 2017, Christie Velasco focuses on audit and quality assurance, data analytics, strategic oversight, and human resources while assisting the President and CEO. Previously held the position of Assistant Vice President in the same organization, contributing to similar functions. Prior experience includes roles as Family Office Services Accountant at Alvarez & Marsal and Assurance Experienced Associate and Associate at PwC. Christie Velasco began in the field as an Audit Intern at PAAST CPA. Academic achievements include a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Miami Herbert Business School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Miami. Early education was completed at Our Lady of Lourdes Academy.
