Interaptix Augmented Reality
Kristina Smiltnieks is a skilled professional with extensive experience in community animation and 3D arts. Currently serving as a Project Exchange Community Animator (PECA) at the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) since September 2018, Kristina enhances CSI's internal processes following a role as a Desk Exchange Community Animator (DECA), where responsibilities included managing day-to-day operations and promoting CSI's membership services. Concurrently, Kristina works as a 3D Artist and Illustrator at Interaptix Augmented Reality, specializing in 3D modeling and graphic design for augmented and virtual reality. Previous experience includes an Art Assistant position at the Sara Elizabeth Centre, providing creative support for young adults with challenges, and an internship at Factor[e] Design Initiative, focusing on branding and promotional material. Kristina holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Illustration from Sheridan College and has completed additional training at Humber College and the 3D Training Institute.
