Mordechai Schechter

Mordechai Schechter is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as CFO at Interborough Developmental & Consultation Center since July 2016, Mordechai oversees financial operations for a multi-location non-profit outpatient mental health center and a medically supervised outpatient chemical dependency treatment program. Prior roles include AVP of Consolidation and External Reporting/Technical Accounting at Xura, Inc., and AVP of External Reporting & Technical Accounting at Comverse Technology, Inc., where significant contributions included managing SEC filings and financial consolidations. Earlier positions include Divisional Controller at IDT Corporation, where Mordechai coordinated financial reporting and consolidations across multiple companies, and various roles in accounting at IDT. Mordechai holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
