Sara Walker has worked in the healthcare industry since 2010. Sara began their career at Spectrum Health as a Staff RN, then moved to Allegan General Hospital as an RN Case Manager Homecare in 2013. In 2018, they took on a role as a School Nurse at AESA- Hillside West Behavioral and Learning Center. In 2020, they joined The Oaks at Byron Center as an Interim Director of Health Services, Assistant Director of Health Services, and Charge Nurse. Her current role is Care Manager at InterCare Community Health Network, which they began in 2022.
Sara Walker obtained an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an LPN from Grand Rapids Community College in 2011. Sara then obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS in Public Adminstration City, Regional, and NonProfit Management from Grand Valley State University in 2000.
