Nuno T.

Nuno T. has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and development. Nuno started their career as a Consultant at Link Consulting in 2011, where they worked with multiple teams developing products on the .NET platform for several banks and insurance companies in Europe and Africa. In 2013, they joined Codacy as a Software Engineer, focusing on Scala backend development and utilizing technologies such as Scala, Akka, Java, and Docker. During their time at Codacy, they also played a role in product roadmap decisions and agile sprint planning. In 2016, Nuno became a self-employed Scala Consultant, working remotely as a freelancer in web development. Nuno collaborated with clients worldwide, developing solutions using technologies like Scala, Play Framework, Akka, Java, and AWS. Nuno'sresponsibilities included full stack development of cloud-based solutions, API development and integration with third parties, AWS cost optimization, consulting in product growth and development for early-stage companies, and project management. Finally, in 2018, Nuno joined Intercom as a Product Engineer, initially in a role focused on full stack development using Ruby on Rails and Ember. Nuno then transitioned to the role of Senior Product Engineer, where they continue to work closely with the product and design teams.

Nuno T. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science at the Instituto Superior Técnico from 2004 to 2009. Nuno then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Software Engineering from the same institution from 2009 to 2011.
