Product Designer Growth at Intercom

Róisín B. has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Róisín is currently employed as a Product Designer - Growth at Intercom, a position they started in November 2021. Prior to this, from October 2019 to November 2021, they worked as an Experience Designer at Verizon Connect. Before joining Verizon Connect, Róisín held multiple roles at Glofox, a fitness management platform. Róisín worked as a Customer Onboarding Lead from May 2019 to October 2019 and as a Senior Customer Success Manager from February 2018 to May 2019. Róisín also has experience at Amazing.com, where they served as a Customer Success Lead from November 2016 to September 2017, as a Senior Customer Success Manager from June 2016 to October 2016, and as a Customer Success Manager from September 2015 to October 2016. Róisín's earliest work experience was with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET), where they held the position of Regional Advisor from July 2014 to July 2015, and Language Teacher and Cultural Advisor from July 2012 to July 2015.

Róisín B. pursued their education at various institutions throughout their academic journey. From 2017 to 2019, they attended Technological University Dublin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Digital Technology and Design. Prior to that, they studied at Maynooth University from 2009 to 2012 and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Anthropology.

In addition to their formal education, Róisín has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In January 2017, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner through the Scrum Alliance. In January 2016, they earned a Certificate of Social Media Marketing from SO ME Academy.

Róisín has also pursued various certifications related to their field of expertise. Róisín obtained a certification in Facilitating UX Workshops from the Nielsen Norman Group in July 2021. In December 2020, they completed a course on Service Design: How to Design Integrated Service Experiences offered by The Interaction Design Foundation. In November 2020, they obtained a certification in User Research – Methods and Best Practices, also from The Interaction Design Foundation. In October 2020, they completed a course on Analytics and User Experience by the Nielsen Norman Group. Róisín also obtained certification in Service Blueprinting from the Nielsen Norman Group in August 2020. Additionally, in March 2020, they earned a certification in Accessibility - How to Design for All from The Interaction Design Foundation.
