Ryan S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Ryan started their career in 2004 as a Co-Founder, Managing Director, and Software Developer at Edgespace Ltd, a self-funded software consultancy company based in Ireland. The company provided technical skills to Bay Area technology companies and was profitable from the start.

In 2006, Ryan worked as a J2EE Software Consultant at EMC (including RSA Security and Passmark Security pre-acquisition) through Edgespace. Ryan was responsible for designing and implementing web-based back-office management applications for RSA Adaptive Authentication, a tokenless two-factor authentication and fraud monitoring suite for financial institutions. Ryan also carried out the re-brand of the back-office applications following the RSA acquisition and provided troubleshooting and implementation assistance to customers.

Ryan also worked as a Software Consultant at Securify through Edgespace. Their responsibilities included developing a Perl testing framework, creating automated tests, implementing bug fixes, and enhancing the web management console and monitoring system for the client. Ryan also responded to customer support queries and built an automated web crawler for web UI mapping and security testing.
