Siva S.

Siva S. has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Siva started their career at Sapient Global Markets in 2010, where they worked as an Associate Technology L1. During their time there, they developed an automation framework and was involved in a mini project related to the share market's matching system.

In 2012, Siva joined Spark n' Beyond as an Entrepreneur, Lead - Web Solutions. Siva led the web solutions wing and was responsible for developing websites and web applications.

From 2014 to 2015, Siva worked at FusionCharts as a Software Engineer. Siva was part of the developer team creating dashboards using the FusionCharts Library and also created tools for the content writers' team.

In 2015, Siva joined Vedantu as a Software Developer. Siva worked on revamping the Vedantu site using AngularJS and migrated the legacy front-end build system to Gulp.

In 2016, Siva worked at Zalando SE as a Software Developer and then joined 8x8 UK as a JavaScript Developer.

In 2017, they joined Stratagem Technologies as a Software Developer (Front-end) and later joined Wonga as a Senior JavaScript Engineer. At Wonga, they were involved in migrating a PHP-based application to Angular and implemented A/B testing in the front-end.

From 2018 to 2021, Siva worked at comparethemarket.com as a Senior Software Engineer. Siva worked on the Rewards team and was responsible for rewarding millions of customers in the UK with various offers. Siva developed full stack solutions using NodeJS, Mongo in the backend, and ReactJS in the frontend. Siva also architected a solution for getting daily reports from a third-party SFTP server and integrating it into power BI.

Currently, Siva is working at Intercom as a Product Engineer. Siva works as a full-stack developer using Ember.js on the front-end and Ruby on Rails on the backend. Siva is part of the Inbox team, which built the product used by millions daily. Siva has also solved the problem of non-English keyboards being unable to use keyboard shortcuts within the app, making it one of the few apps to support multiple keyboard layouts.

Siva S. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from GCT, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Before that, they completed their HSC (High School Certificate) in Maths and Computer Science at Rosemary Matric Hr. Sec School, Tirunelveli, from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) in Maths and Science at St. John's Higher Secondary School in 2004. Additionally, Siva S. obtained certifications in German Fluency (Elementary level) from Duolingo in March 2016 and French Fluency (Advanced level) from Duolingo in August 2015.
