Sofhia S. began their work experience in 2009 at DBAccess as a Software Developer, where they conducted detailed component design and implemented technical solutions using Java and . Sofhia then became a Lead Software Developer in 2011, overseeing all stages of the software development cycle and validating requirements. In 2014, Sofhia joined Guidewire Software as a Solution Consultant 2, working on BillingCenter/PolicyCenter configuration and suite integration projects. Sofhia advanced to the role of Consultant 3 in 2016 and then became a Senior Consultant in 2017, focusing on BillingCenter/PolicyCenter configuration projects. During their time at Guidewire Software, Sofhia collaborated with cross-functional teams, mentored and monitored activities, and utilized various technologies such as React, Redux, Saga, AWS, and Rest micro-services. In 2021, they joined Intercom as a Product Engineer.

Sofhia S. obtained an Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Centro Occidental 'Lisandro Alvarado' between 2004 and 2009. Sofhia then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Software Engineering at the same university from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications such as the PSM I from Scrum.org, which they obtained in July 2018, and the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer from Oracle, obtained in July 2016.
