Intercommunity Action
Kathryn S. Miller, LCSW, RPT-S, is an accomplished mental health professional with extensive experience in various leadership and clinical roles. Currently serving as Interim Chief Operating Officer and Director of Strategic Initiatives at Intercommunity Action since 2022, Kathryn also founded Blue Sparrow | Healing with Play, LLC in 2013, where Kathryn functions as an Assessor and Psychotherapist. As a co-founder of the Immigrant Psychology Network since 2019, Kathryn has dedicated efforts toward addressing diverse mental health needs. Previous positions include Manager of Outreach and Prevention, Family Mental Health Care Coordinator, and Trauma Clinician at Philadelphia Children's Alliance, and Associate Director of Health Policy at Children First in 2021. Kathryn's academic background includes a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Susquehanna University.

Intercommunity Action helps people live fulfilling lives by providing resources for Aging, Behavioral Health, and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. They have provided assistance to help people live successfully in the community. Interact was established in 1969 as a private, not-for-profit, community-based organization designed to meet the human services needs of the residents of Andorra, Roxborough, Manayunk, Wissahickon, East Falls, and Nicetown neighborhoods of Northwest Philadelphia.
