Candace Palec

Candace Palec has extensive work experience in the sales and hospitality industry. Candace began their career as a Mobile Switching Office and Local Operations Center Technician at Nextel from 1998 to 2001. Candace then transitioned to the hotel industry, working as an Executive Meetings and Corporate Travel Sales Manager at Claremont Club & Spa, A Fairmont Hotel from 2001 to 2006. After that, they served as a Special Events & Executive Meetings Sales Manager at Hotel Vitale from 2006 to 2007. Candace then worked as a Group Sales Manager at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group from 2007 to 2009. Candace's most recent role was at InterContinental San Francisco, where they held positions including Senior Sales Manager from 2009 to 2014, Associate Director of Group Sales from 2014 to 2015, and currently as the Area Director of Group Sales since August 2015. In their current position, they are responsible for overseeing all sales activities for the group sales team and developing sales and marketing plans.

Candace Palec holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from Saint Mary's College of California. Additionally, they have obtained a Master's in Business Administration from Golden Gate University.
