Ellen Tsai

Ellen Tsai has a strong background in finance and accounting with a focus on the hospitality industry. Ellen started their career as a Controller at Chancellor Hotel in 1999. Ellen then moved on to work as an Assistant Director of Finance at St. Regis Hotel for five years. In 2013, they became the Director of Finance at The Westin Edmonton Hotel. From 2014 to 2018, they served as the Complex Director of Finance at The Westin SFO & Aloft SFO. After that, they held positions as Director of Finance at Proper Hospitality, Hotel Nia, and W San Francisco. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Director of Finance at Omni Hotels & Resorts before joining InterContinental San Francisco in 2022 as their Director of Finance.

Ellen Tsai obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General from Eastern Michigan University between 1995 and 1997. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Hospitality Administration/Management at Golden Gate University from 1997 to 1999.
