Elena M.g. Barbuzzi

Elena M.G. Barbuzzi has a diverse work experience in the cosmetics industry. Elena M.G. currently holds the role of VP R&D Make Up, Skin, Hair and PC - China, Korea at Intercos since September 2023, and previously served as the Global R&D Vice President for Skin, Hair and Personal Care from February 2021 to January 2024. Prior to that, they worked as the VP R&D for Skin, Hair, PC and Fragrances at Cosmint S.p.A. from October 2020 onwards.

From May 2018 to October 2020, Elena held the position of R&D and Innovation head at PETTENON COSMETICS S.P.A., and also served as the Director and Head of R&D and Innovation within the same period.

Before joining PETTENON COSMETICS, they worked at Unilever for several years, starting as a supply chain planner from November 2006 to March 2010. Elena then transitioned to various roles within the R&D department, including R&D Flavour Manager for Oral Care (no specific start or end date mentioned), and R&D Discovery - Hair Category from January 2000 to July 2003. Elena M.G. also held the position of R&D Portfolio Manager for HHC at Unilever from January 2011 to October 2014.
