Geetha is the Senior Director of Consumer + Travel at Interdependence. She brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience in integrated, results-orientated earned media and content marketing. This includes leading national media relations programs, consumer activations, brand launches, and celebrity and influencer marketing at Kohl’s Corporate for key shopping seasons and high-profile brands. Her experience also includes business-to-business marketing by leading content strategy efforts. Programs were driven by compelling storytelling through a strategic channel mix of earned media, social media, customer events, influencer programs, paid sponsorships, marketing automation and blogs for clients such as Corteva Agriscience, Zoetis, InEight and The Standard.

Her passion is in finding innovative solutions to tell customer-centric, insights-driven stories to increase shared media voice, excite existing customers and reach new audiences. She excels at building relationships, collaborating with teams and partners, managing quick-turn projects and developing talent to deliver results.

Geetha earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University with an emphasis on art history. Her career began with a public relations internship at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, followed by positions at The Frick Collection on the Museum Mile and at a strategic communications agency dedicated to cultural institutions.
