Alain Mourad

Alain Mourad serves as Senior Director at InterDigital, Inc., leading the Wireless Lab Europe and managing operations in the UK since March 2014. With a focus on 6G technologies, including integrated sensing and communications, distributed computing, and deterministic communications, Alain has played pivotal roles in numerous research consortia and industry groups, notably ETSI and WWRF. Recognized for innovative contributions to the field, Alain has received multiple awards, including the InterDigital Innovation Award. Prior experience includes significant positions at Samsung Electronics and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, focusing on standardization and next-generation wireless technologies. Alain holds a PhD in Telecommunications from IMT Atlantique and advanced degrees in signal processing from the Université de Rennes I.
