Hamza Alawiye

Hamza Alawiye is a highly skilled scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis. Currently, Hamza serves as a Staff Scientist at InterDigital, Inc., focusing on AI-based video and image compression technologies. Prior roles include Senior Research Scientist and Research Scientist at Deep Render, where state-of-the-art deep learning models were developed and implemented. As a Heilbronn Research Fellow at the University of Bristol, independent research on Gaussian processes was conducted. Hamza's background also includes positions as Director/Consultant at Mathano Ltd, Tutor at the University of Oxford, and Mathematician at the UK Civil Service. Hamza holds a DPhil in Mathematics from the University of Oxford and a Master's degree from the University of Warwick.
