Jaya Rao

Jaya Rao is a highly experienced professional in electrical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at InterDigital, Inc. Previously, Jaya held the position of Senior Research Engineer focusing on 5G RAN at Huawei Technologies. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Calgary, Research Intern at Shaw Communications, and Senior Electrical Engineer as well as Test Systems Engineer at Motorola Solutions. Jaya holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, awarded in 2014, and a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, earned in 2004.
