Paul Russell

Paul Russell is a seasoned professional in the field of wireless communication technologies, currently serving as the Sr. Director and Sr. Principal Engineer at InterDigital, Inc. since 2005. With extensive experience managing teams and overseeing research and development, Paul has played a pivotal role in leading large groups of engineers, particularly during the integration of employees post-acquisition by Technicolor. As a Steering Committee Member of Convida Wireless, Paul managed joint venture activities and ensured participation in significant working groups. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at InterDigital, where Paul directed the development of a multi-mode wireless handset, and roles at NXP, Motorola, and Ericsson focusing on ASIC design and telecommunications systems. Paul holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Physics from Tuskegee University.
