Chitra Karamchandani has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies.

Chitra started their career at ETA in 2015 as an Estimation Department Intern, where they worked on the Circle Mall and Blue Waters Project, assisting with preparing the Bill of Quantities and Enquiries for the systems used in the projects.

In 2017, Chitra joined Siemens as a Projects Department Intern. During their time there, they engaged in ongoing projects in the Building Technologies division, specifically dealing with Building Management Systems. Chitra prepared control logics for various systems like HVAC, Lighting, and Access Control using Siemens software and configured I/O points for Siemens systems.

That same year, they also began working at INTEREL. Their first role was as a Logic Intern, where they developed software programs for ongoing projects and mock-ups. Chitra evaluated programming standards and recommended functionality improvements to logic programming.

Chitra's next role at INTEREL was as a Junior Logic Programmer. Chitra reviewed system operational requirements and electrical diagrams to prepare control logics for Programmable Logical Controllers. Chitra monitored PLC programming for projects in Europe and the MEA regions and worked with the projects team for commissioning control systems on-site.

Currently, Chitra works as an Embedded Software Engineer at INTEREL. Their responsibilities include testing and troubleshooting various INTEREL solutions, conducting root-cause-analysis for issues encountered during testing, and working on both the electrical and software aspects of the solutions.

Chitra Karamchandani has a strong educational background in the field of science and engineering. Chitra started their education at GEMS Education, where they completed their CBSE XII (AISSCE) and CBSE X (AISCE) degrees in Science. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Birla Institute Of Technology and Science, Pilani Dubai, graduating in 2017. In 2019, Chitra enrolled at Imperial College London to further their studies, specializing in Control Systems and obtaining a Master's degree in this field in 2020.
