Kabir Kumar is a seasoned leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), currently serving as Vice President of Inclusive Workforce at The Walt Disney Company since June 2024. With extensive experience in corporate social responsibility and community engagement, Kumar has held prominent roles such as Head of Strategic Initiatives for Global Belonging, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Walmart and as a Commissioner for the Arkansas Governor’s Commission on National Service and Volunteerism - EngageAR. A proven advocate for philanthropy, Kumar has contributed to various organizations, including Silicon Valley Community Foundation, where promotions highlighted success in development. Kumar’s leadership has been pivotal in initiatives across different sectors, including retail, education, and health, supported by a Master’s Degree from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.

Interfaith America inspires, equips, and connects individuals and institutions to unlock the potential of America’s religious diversity. Interfaith America is the nation’s leader in interfaith cooperation, equipping individuals and institutions with the knowledge and resources to redefine the role of religion in society. We convene allies and partners, helping them discover shared values and guiding them through collaboration toward a common cause. We provide curriculum and resources on religious pluralism, empowering leaders to advance diversity and inclusion and build community. And, we build capacity for institutions and organizations by awarding grants and support that enable them to leverage interfaith cooperation as a proven approach in solving challenges. Together, we are building an America where people of different faiths, worldviews, and traditions bridge divides and find common values to build a shared life for the good of all.
