Jean Ku has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Jean is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing at Interfolio since September 2021. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at PowerSchool, including Vice President of Naviance Marketing from March 2021 to September 2021 and Vice President of Marketing Services from August 2019 to March 2021.

Before joining PowerSchool, Jean worked as a Marketing Consultant at JKU Consulting from June 2018 to August 2019, where they provided market strategies and executed marketing programs to achieve high growth objectives for their clients.

From July 2016 to May 2018, Jean served as the VP of Marketing at Intellify Learning, a startup company. In this role, they established marketing strategies, drove market awareness, and developed the go-to-market plan to support the company's expansion into the higher education market.

Jean also has experience as the VP of Demand Generation at Opower from July 2015 to March 2016, where they led a team responsible for demand generation, digital marketing, events, client experience programs, and marketing operations. Jean successfully implemented account-based marketing activities and a persona-based marketing approach, resulting in a 20 percent increase in engagement rates.

From April 2012 to June 2015, Jean held the position of Sr. Director of Education & Enterprise Marketing at Rosetta Stone. Jean managed a multifaceted team responsible for marketing functions and played a crucial role in driving sales bookings targets by utilizing a multi-million dollar budget.

Earlier in their career, Jean worked at Monster Government Solutions as a Program Director from May 2011 to April 2012, where they defined new products, identified platform and channel partners, and advised executives on business and product strategies to expand Monster's global public sector business.

Jean's experience also includes roles at Blackboard, where they served as the Director of Planning and Analysis from October 2009 to April 2011, and as the Director of K-12 Product Strategy from February 2008 to September 2009.

Jean began their professional journey at The Avascent Group (formerly DFI) as a Senior Associate from July 1997 to January 2008 and previously worked as a Consultant at DFI International from 1997 to 2006.

Jean Ku has an MBA in Marketing/Management from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business. Prior to pursuing their MBA, they earned a BSBA in International Marketing from American University.
