Barend Lotter

Barend Lotter is a seasoned professional in business analytics and optimization, currently serving as Senior Manager of Business Analytics at Interfor since January 2018, where responsibilities have included managerial roles in business analytics and business optimization. Prior experience includes working as a Project Analyst at UBC Sauder School of Business and as a Process and Technical Coordinator at Tolko Industries. Barend possesses a strong academic background with a Master of Management in Operations Research from UBC Sauder School of Business, a Master of Science in Wood Science and Wood Products/Pulp and Paper Technology from The University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Stellenbosch University. Previous roles also extend to academia as a University Instructor, as well as various internships ranging from quality control program development to mass production support in the furniture industry.
