Gerrit Zijlstra

Gerrit Zijlstra is a Senior Scientific Engineer at Intergas Verwarming B.V., where responsibilities include acting as Project Lead for Hydrogen & Innovation and researching new technologies. Previously, Gerrit served as a Process and Material Researcher at the University of Groningen, contributing to industrial projects for Philips and providing lectures at national and international conferences. Earlier experience includes developing a material model for Philips Consumer Lifestyle and organizing symposia as President of the Symposium Committee for the Fysisch-Mathematische Faculteitsvereniging. Gerrit's education encompasses a PhD in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, an MSc in Applied Physics, a minor in Dutch Law, and a BSc in Applied Physics, all obtained from the University of Groningen.
