Marissa Lawson

Marissa Lawson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2003 to 2022. Marissa began working at Loudoun County Public Schools in 2003 as an Education Specialist, where they remained until 2012. In the same year, they also started their own business, LouLou's Cakery, LLC, as the Owner. Marissa continued to manage their business until 2018. In 2012, Lawson also joined TMSOFT LLC, working in Business Development and Operations until 2022. During this time, they gained experience in various roles at the company. Additionally, they worked at Arlington Public Schools as an Education Specialist from 2012 to 2015. Most recently, Lawson joined Playwire in 2021, initially serving as an Executive Administrator before being promoted to Executive Director of Partner Success in October 2022.

Marissa Lawson pursued their education at the University of Florida, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Teaching from 1998 to 2002. After their undergraduate studies, they returned to the University of Florida in 2002 and completed a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching by 2003. Later on, in 2008, Marissa attended Shenandoah University and earned another Master's Degree, this time in Educational Leadership and Administration.
