Alexandros Pilavakis

Alexandros Pilavakis has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Alexandros started their career in 2012 as a Freelancer Programmer/Web Developer and worked independently until January 2020. From April 2012 to April 2013, they worked as a Web Developer at AKTINA. In October 2014, they joined Cyprus Paintball as a Manager, where they promoted the sport until November 2018. Alexandros then transitioned to the tech industry, joining MindGeek in February 2019. During their time at MindGeek, they served as a Software Developer and later as a Senior Software Developer. Their responsibilities included training and coaching team members, contributing to tech decisions, solving complex problems, releasing features for high-traffic products, maintaining legacy code, and optimizing system performance. In 2022, they joined FxPro as a Senior Software Engineer until August, and currently, they hold the same position at Intergo Telecom Ltd, starting from September 2022.

Alexandros Pilavakis earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Crete, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In September 2012, they obtained their BS in Computer Science from the University of Crete. Additionally, in June 2021, they obtained a certification as an Elastic Certified Engineer from Elastic.
