Anjal Prakash

Anjal Prakash is an accomplished academic and editor specializing in climate action and environmental sustainability. Currently serving as an Associate Editor at Frontiers in Climate and as a Clinical Associate Professor (Research) and Research Director at the Indian School of Business, Anjal also holds positions as Adjunct Faculty at IIT Hyderabad and is involved with multiple editorial boards, including PLOS Climate, Nature Urban Sustainability, and Springer SN Business and Economics. Anjal's extensive contributions to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) include roles as Lead Author for the Sixth Assessment Report and Coordinating Lead Author for the Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate. With a PhD in Social Sciences from Wageningen University & Research and a background in community development, Anjal Prakash continues to advance important dialogues and research on climate change and adaptation.
