Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson is currently a Campaign Insights Analyst at Boots UK, where responsibilities include utilizing Python and SQL to improve processes and optimize audience targeting for marketing campaigns. Concurrently, Matthew serves as a Mathematics Tutor for the InterGreat Education Group, tutoring undergraduate students in Mathematics and preparing them for admission tests. Previous positions include a Lecturer in Mathematics at Nottingham College, a Church Support Worker at The Peoples Church, and roles at the University of York as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Mathematics Tutor. Matthew also contributed to the PASS+ scheme at the University of Nottingham and completed a summer internship focusing on higher p-adic elliptic logarithms with the London Mathematical Society. Matthew holds a Postgraduate Research degree in Mathematics from the University of York and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham.
