Lead, Substance Use Strategies at Interior Health Authority

Daniel Grigat has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and research sector. Daniel is currently working at Interior Health Authority as the Lead of Substance Use Strategies, where they focus on developing and implementing strategies to improve access to evidence-based treatments for substance use disorder. Previously, they had roles at Alberta Health Services, including Senior Project Manager for e-Mental Health and Senior Consultant for Child and Youth Initiatives. Daniel also worked as a Knowledge Translation Specialist at the University of Calgary, where they collaborated with patient groups to conduct research on inflammatory bowel disease. Prior to that, they served as a Project Coordinator for Knowledge Transfer Initiatives at the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research. Daniel Grigat completed their education at the University of Alberta. Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction, majoring in Philosophy and History, from 1999 to 2004. Daniel then pursued a Master of Arts degree in History at the same institution from 2004 to 2007.
