Lorne Sisley has extensive work experience in executive leadership and management roles. Lorne served as the Executive Director, Corporate Services at Interior Health Authority, leading a senior management team responsible for capital projects, maintenance of buildings, and climate change response. Prior to that, they were the Corporate Director, Facilities Management & Operations, overseeing facility maintenance and environmental sustainability initiatives. Lorne also held the position of Director, Capital Projects, providing guidance on the delivery of construction projects. In addition, Lorne Sisley worked as the Director, Business Support (Major Capital Projects), where they provided research and leadership for large-scale public-private partnership agreements. Lorne began their career at the British Columbia Ministry of Management Services, serving as the Manager, Commercial Services, and later as the A/ Regional Director, responsible for providing guidance and leadership to a professional staff. Lorne Sisley completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Fredericton from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designations from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada in 2004. In 2014, they became a Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) through the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council. Additionally, Lorne has a Financial Management Certificate from the Government of British Columbia, Ministry of Finance, which they obtained in 2002. Lorne pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Victoria, majoring in Economics and minoring in Sociology from 1987 to 1990. Lorne also completed a University Transfer program at Northern Lights College in 1984-1985.
