Roger Parsonage

Executive Director, Population & Public Health at Interior Health Authority

Roger Parsonage began their work experience in 2003 as a Manager of Health Protection at Interior Health Authority. Roger eventually worked their way up to become the Regional Director of Health Protection, where they focused on developing an integrated and networked health delivery system. In 2015, Parsonage took on a part-time role as a Sessional Instructor at the Justice Institute of British Columbia, teaching courses related to community care licensing. Roger returned to Interior Health Authority and held various executive director positions before their current role as the Executive Director of Population & Public Health.

Roger Parsonage has a Diploma in Environmental Health from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Roger then pursued a Diploma in Public Sector Management from the University of Victoria, completing it from 1998 to 2002. Roger later earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from Thompson Rivers University between 2004 and 2007. Lastly, they obtained a Master of Health Administration from The University of British Columbia, which they completed from 2007 to 2009.
