Elliott Pimentel, CFE, serves as the Special Agent in Charge at the DOI Office of Inspector General since September 2015, following roles as Assistant Special Agent in Charge and Special Agent within the same agency. Prior experience includes serving as a Special Agent at the Social Security Administration from November 2004 to September 2015, focusing on the investigation and prosecution of fraud, waste, and abuse in SSA programs. Earlier in their career, Elliott was a Staff Sergeant in the US Marine Corps from July 1998 to November 2004 and participated in the Presidential Management Fellowship. Educational qualifications include a Master's of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati, an MBA in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Campbell University.
