Marilyn Goodrich has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Marilyn also worked as a Project Manager at the Greater Cincinnati Health Council from 1998 to 2002, where they monitored group purchasing contracts and prepared financial analyses for a non-profit healthcare membership association. Their earliest recorded role was as a Contract Specialist in the Community Services Department at Marcus Center (now Georgia Community Support & Solutions) from 1996 to 1998, where they oversaw community program contracts and coordinated logistics for a non-profit agency serving individuals with developmental disabilities.

Marilyn Goodrich graduated from Ball State University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychological Science. Prior to attending university, they attended Carmel High School from 1983 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, Marilyn also obtained a certification in FRP Foundation Associate Mission from Microsoft in March 2023.
