Jacob Sussman

Jacob Sussman is an experienced instructor of visual arts specializing in ceramics and sculpture at the Interlochen Center for the Arts since June 2023. Jacob's academic background includes a Master of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, where involvement as a graduate, design research fellow, and assistant technician provided a robust foundation in fine arts. Previous roles include teaching at the Worcester Center for Crafts and L'Mercado Studios, as well as working as a picture framer and fine arts consultant at Gallery Framers. Jacob's research with Hyundai Motor Group focused on sustainable material development, enhancing industrial processes in ceramics, metals, and glass.
