Rabia Babar

Rabia Babar is an experienced professional in project management and engineering, currently serving as the Projects Lead at Interloop Limited since November 2021. In this role, Rabia has successfully led the expansion of a new plant featuring 1,584 CL knitting machines, managing aspects such as layout planning, budgeting, procurement, and recruitment. Rabia has also been instrumental in promoting gender diversity initiatives within the facility. Previously, Rabia designed and established a state-of-the-art vertically integrated Knits Fabric and Apparel manufacturing facility and led change management initiatives to align operations with Lean manufacturing principles. Prior to the current position, Rabia worked as a Projects Engineer at Nestlé and held various engineering roles at Interloop Limited, starting as a Management Trainee in December 2015. Rabia holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the NFC Institute of Engineering and Fertilizer Research, earned in October 2015.
