James Oliver has held various positions in the information technology field since 2002. In 2002, they were the Manager of Information and Technology at Telecom Partners Resources, LLC where they were responsible for day-to-day IT operations and determining the appropriate strategy. James worked with vendors to cut costs of monthly telecom expenditures and researched new technology to make the company more efficient. James also reduced costs by bringing contracted services in-house. In 2003, they were a Systems Administrator at Symphony Media. In 2004, they were the Owner of JO Networks LLC. From 2007 to present, they have held various roles at Intermap Technologies, Inc., including Director of Information Technology, IT Manager, and IT Admin - Team Lead. In these roles, they have been responsible for planning, organizing, and ensuring the execution of information technology functions in the areas of infrastructure and operations to meet the needs and goals of the business. James has also overseen upgrades, installations, conversions, and maintenance.
James Oliver completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1999. Prior to that, they attended University High School in Normal, IL from 1991 to 1995. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in 2014 and Cisco Certified Network Associate from Cisco in 2012.
