Vratislav Tydlitat

Vratislav Tydlitat has over 25 years of experience in software development and GIS. Vratislav began their career in 1994 at MMC as a Developer, Team Leader, GIS Specialist and Developer, GIS Specialist, IT Administrator. In this role, they worked on multiple risk management and analysis GIS applications for insurance and telecom companies, data processing tools written in Visual Basic 6.0, simple mapping applications written in ASP and Visual Basic, GIS data processing, IT administration, and customer support.

In 2007, they joined Intermap Technologies as a Development Manager, Development Team Lead (GeoPro), Senior Developer / Architect (Intermap Web Services), and Senior Developer / Architect. In the role of Development Team Lead (GeoPro), they worked on software that served complex spatial data in a simple way that was easily used by location-based intelligence applications and end users. As Senior Developer / Architect (Intermap Web Services), they worked on retrieving profiles, elevations, and similar analytic results from underlying DTM/DSM terrain database on cloud as well as streaming data via WMS and proprietary protocol optimized for performance.

Vratislav Tydlitat obtained a Master's Degree in the Department of Electric Drives and Traction from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague between 1993 and 2000.
